Hi coaches and athletes,
Thank you for registering for the 2022 Garden State HS Invitational. We're super excited about all the great teams and athletes coming from NJ-NY-PA!
Here are your final instructions:
1- Meet start. The facility opens at 1:30, and the meet starts at 2:30pm. Masks must be worn at all times except when competing. Field event athletes must wear their masks in between attempts on the runway or in the circle.
2- Spectators. Fully-vaccinated spectators are now allowed! For those unable to attend, the meet will be livestreamed on this YouTube channel.
3- Bibs.Upon arrival, pick up your personalized bibs at the awards table. This will be across from the snack bar in the hallway. For athletes/teams that missed the deadline, we will have blank bibs for kids to write their last name on.
- 3a- Payment. This table is also where you can give the check (made out to "Garden State Track Club") if you haven't already mailed this out.
- 3b- Apparel. There will also be meet apparel (hoodies, shirts, etc) sold in that same area as well.
4- Warm ups. This will be allowed on the track until 2:15 and downstairs the entire meet.
5- Check-in. In the field events, please check-in at the event. For the running events, please check-in at the paddock area next to the shot put cages when your event is called. You must enter this area from the downstairs warm-up area. This is a big meet and we will run a tight ship. Please be sure athletes are in the right places at the right times.
6- Awards. Shortly after the conclusion of every event, top six athletes and relays may pick up their medals at the medal table. Also, the winning relay in each relay wins four meet batons.
7- Blocks. We will provide and allow blocks for the first 5 heats of the 55m and the first 4 heats of the 200m.
8- Opening heights. PV: 7'/9'. HJ: 4-4/5-4. Shot: we will use both cages (girls in smaller cage).
9- Scratches. Please report scratches during check-in process.
10- Meet pictures. This will be posted on NJ Milesplit within 48 hours of the event at no cost.
11- Heat sheets. Please email us ASAP if there are any issues or oversights with the heat sheets. It's a big meet with lots of moving parts, but we'd like to get it all right, if possible.
